This book reminded me a little of Miss Peregrine’s School for Peculiar Children in how it managed to weave illustrations into an adult book so effectively. The pictures add a really creepy vibe to the book and are a very important part to unravelling the mystery.
The best and most original book I’ve read in a long while.
