⭐⭐⭐
The sequel to A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder.
Of the trilogy, this is probably the weakest book.
I did like it. It ties together some things that I thought were loose ends in the first novel, but actually turned out to be cleverly placed foreshadowing. The stakes felt higher investigating a current missing person case where finding him could be the difference between life and death, rather than a cold case murder.
Parts of the solution to the mystery were very predictable though, which is not what you want in a mystery book.
